Diagnostic Arthroscopy (Shoulder)

Learn about this procedure and watch a detailed video that shows you exactly what is involved.

This procedure is done with minimally invasive techniques and is used to determine or diagnose the cause of pain in the shoulder. However, diagnostic arthroscopy can be used in multiple areas of the body. A tiny camera known as an arthroscope is inserted through a miniscule incision in the shoulder. Another incision will allow the placement of a light, and the surgeon will proceed to determine the cause of pain plaguing the patient.
